Steps

Online Financial Planning - Process Details

Enrolment

Register with us if you are a new user. Create your user id and password and then login OR directly login if you are already a registered user.

Total time estimate for making your financial plan would be approximately 30 to 120 minutes depending on the online service you have chosen.

Very Important:
You may stop and re-start the online service any number of times. However please note that report generation can be done only 2 times.

Profiling

In this stage you enter personal data & start seeing planning totals & results emerging.

• Go to "My Account" section and press "Start" your start your online planning activity.
• Enter data as guided & required. A guiding map is shown at the top of the screen to show you where you are. Keep entering data as needed and once you are totally satisfied press the "Next" button. This will save your information and will take you to the next section of data entry.
• Continue the process all the way.
• While entering data you will notice a "Comment" box in each section. Enter information as you like here. It could be your own thinking / planning notes / your own calculations / reminders or just anything you like. This section will be appended in your planning report.

Planning

In this stage you customise / modify / amend / fine-tune financial planning results & thereafter generate the financial plan strategy report.

• Results keep emerging as you enter your data. Once you are done with all the data entry hit the "Solution Summary" button.
  
• Detailed calculations of Financial Planning results will be shown for various planning areas. Along with this full instructions on how to understand results and customise results is also displayed. At this stage you may want to go back to your data section/s to modify and/or amend your data. Once done re-hit the "Solution Summary" button to see re-calculated results.
  
  
• You may do this as many times as you like till the time you fully satisfy yourself.
• Then you may use the "Smart Tips" section to further fine-tune and/or completely modify results as you like. Then re-hit the "Solution Summary" button again to see re-calculated results.
  
• Once again, do this as many times as you like till the time you fully satisfy yourself.
• Once you are sure of everything simply print your data sheet (in pdf or hard copy as you like) & thereafter generate the financial planning strategy report.
  
• Print your Financial Plan instantly and/or view it online. A copy of the plan will also be emailed to your registered email id.
• Please understand that Financial Planning is all about strategy and not about "the best product to buy", hence you will not see such recommendations.
• If your situation changes in the next 6 months use the 1 free modification facility to upgrade / modify / re-create financial plan.
